Three monthsA defined period for sustained commercial discussion.
Six sessionsOne scheduled session every two weeks.
Founder-led agendaCurrent company decisions determine the conversation.
Decision points

For decisions that benefit from more than one conversation

The format suits founders carrying connected questions while the company, available evidence, and priorities continue to change.

Customer evidence is affecting the proposition, positioning, pricing, product direction, or choice of market.

The company needs to connect its market case, business model, milestones, and capital requirement before the decision.

Sales, customers, hiring, delivery, partnerships, and product demands are competing for limited attention and resources.

A launch, expansion, partnership, leadership decision, or change in direction requires sustained commercial attention.

Session 1

Set the frame

Clarify the company context, current priorities, decisions ahead, and the questions that should shape the three months.

Sessions 2 to 5

Work the decisions

Examine developments, challenge assumptions, compare options, and identify the actions or conversations that should follow.

Session 6

Review and look ahead

Review what changed, identify the priorities that remain, and decide what should carry into the next period.

Between sessions

What changes sets the next agenda

The founder carries decisions and actions forward. The next conversation begins with what changed, what was learned, and what now requires attention.

Current decisions set the agenda

Market and customer

Decide where the company should focus

Market signals, customer priorities, positioning, demand, competition, and willingness to pay can change which opportunity deserves attention.

Example questions

  • Which customers or markets matter now?
  • What evidence would change the current direction?

Offer and business model

Keep the proposition and economics connected

The proposition, use case, pricing, packaging, revenue model, and commercial assumptions should describe one coherent business.

Example questions

  • Is the offer clear enough for the next decision?
  • Which commercial assumption remains exposed?

Go-to-market and sales

Decide how the company reaches the market

Customer focus, sales approach, target accounts, partnerships, launch priorities, and market entry can be examined together.

Example questions

  • Which route to market is credible now?
  • Where should commercial effort concentrate?

Capital and milestones

Connect funding with what the capital must enable

The investment case, investor fit, milestones, and capital requirement should reflect the company being built.

Example questions

  • What needs to be true before the next raise?
  • Which milestone would materially strengthen the case?

Growth and company direction

Set priorities across the next phase

Sales momentum, customer value, retention, partnerships, internal focus, and company development may require decisions across several functions.

Example questions

  • What deserves attention over the next quarter?
  • Which opportunity should wait?

How Founder Sessions works

The format is discussion-led, founder-centered, and separate from any direct project delivery or implementation work.

How is each session prepared?

The agenda begins with the founder’s current priorities, relevant developments since the previous session, and the decisions now in view. Any material needed for the conversation is agreed in advance.

Does AxeliQ take responsibility for execution?

The founder retains ownership of decisions and execution. AxeliQ provides commercial perspective and continuity across the sessions.

Can another team member join a session?

Yes, when their participation improves the decision or provides necessary context. The format remains centered on the founder and the company questions being worked through.

Can Founder Sessions lead to a separate engagement?

Yes. If a defined commercial opportunity requires research, development, market work, fundraising preparation, or implementation, that work is considered and scoped separately.

What happens after the sixth session?

The final session reviews what changed and what deserves attention next. Continued sessions can be discussed if the format remains useful, but renewal is not assumed.
